- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Aquilina Kazzi is a PhD candidate in the NERVLAB team at the University of Wollongong. Her PhD focuses on characterising the cellular footprint of human endogenous retroviruses associated with Motor Neuron Disease. Her research integrates proximity labelling approaches, proteomics, and molecular biology, along with computational analysis in Python. She completed a Master of Medical Biotechnology at UOW, during which she undertook a SCIP902 research project focused on establishing an ALFA‑tagged expression model of HERV‑K polyproteins.
