Hi Team! My name is Imogen, and I am a second-year PhD student in the Department of Biochemistry & Pharmacology at the Bio21 Institute. My research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of bacteriocins (protein antibiotics naturally secreted by Pseudomonas spp.) that target drug-resistant Gram-negative pathogens. Using integrated proteomic and lipidomic approaches, I investigate how these bacteriocins disrupt bacterial cell envelope homeostasis and drive cellular stress responses.
